In A Snapshot

The CEO of Pride In The Pews reached out for end-to-end Event Management services for their one-year anniversary symposium. The event brought together Black LGBTQ+ faith leaders, activists, scholars, & allies to celebrate the organizational milestone and engage in meaningful discussion. We coordinated with the internal team to launch a marketing campaign, created a comprehensive event playbook, aligned with stakeholders, executed the event, & produced a post-event report.

  • We worked with the CEO to set clear goals for the event, so our event management could align with his vision at every step.

    Goals:

    • To celebrate the contributions of Black LGBTQ+ people of fait

    • To bring together individuals working in the intersections of sexuality, gender, race & the church.

    • To discuss the nuances of movement building & the intersectionality of sexuality, gender & church

  • We set a weekly meeting with each stakeholder group, including internal team of marketers and interns & key partners, over the two months leading to the event. This allowed us to curate the event playbook to meet each of their needs.

We then coordinated and hosted two large group meeting with all stakeholders three weeks and one week ahead of the conference for smooth alignment.

  • The half day event was hosted on Zoom, with an opening note, four moderated panels & a closing note for 200+ participants across the US attending.

  • We created a post-event report that broke down key discussion points, provided an insightful analysis, and compiled resources to ensure actionable outcomes.
