A Screening of ‘Untouchable: Laughing Out Caste’ documentary film at the Fox Theatre, Toronto
Film Test Screening with Q&A
In A Snapshot
Manjeet Sarkar is an interntionally acclaimed stand-up comedian & filmmaker. Codirected by Mike Noone, ‘Untouchable: Laughing Out Caste’ is a one-of-a-kind documentary film best test screened for select audiences. We provided end-to-end event management services for a screening at the historic Fox Theatre in Toronto, Canada.
-
We worked with the film directors to gain clarity on their vision for the event & set clear goals.
Goals:
To provide a one-of-a-kind test screening experience for audience members.
To collect testimonials & feedback on the film from a wide variety of people attending.
-
We researched and provided a list of venues in Toronto for the film directors. Upon Fox Theatre being approved, we worked with the venue to finalize dates, details, ticketing & payment for the screening.
We coordinated with each key stakeholder to nail down flights, ensure adequate accomodation, and create a detailed event playbook. We also worked with the internal marketing team to launch and track the campaign for a curated private audience relevant to the film.
-
We showed up two hours early to set up the venue - including music, lights, merchandise, and - and test run the transition to a Q&A.
The event was smoothly executed, with 150+ people in attendance, including audience members who flew in from the US.
-
After the event, we collected video and written testimonials from a wide variety of audience members.
-
We organized a post-event dinner at a Mexican restaurant for the team, including coordinating reservations, transportation and accounting for dietary restrictions.
